Our Executive Team

Andrea Klein, Chief Executive Officer

The company’s founder, with over 30 years of industry experience, is Rand Technology’s principal entrepreneurial force and strategic visionary. Leveraging her career as a top salesperson in the semi-conductor industry, she launched Rand in 1992 as an independent electronics distributor. Today Rand Technology is a global sourcing solutions provider and operates an R2 certified ITAD facility in the southeastern United States.

Andrea was a pioneer in the electronics distribution industry at a time when there were virtually no sourcing alternatives for an OEM outside of the factories or franchise distribution. Creative and forward thinking, she conceptualized many industry initiatives and practices, including total acquisition cost strategies for her customers. Over the years, she has developed critical and longstanding relationships with many of the industry's OEMs, ODMs and EMSs.

Under Andrea’s innovative leadership, Rand Technology was the very first independent electronics distributor to become ISO certified and the first to establish formal customer partnership programs. Her focus on product knowledge, exemplary service and the highest quality standards established Rand as a benchmark in the open market for electronic components.
