Prashant Urkudey brings in extensive professional experience in technology management coupled with academic qualifications to lead the Technology team as Chief Information Officer at Rand Technology. He is a seasoned IT Executive with over 27 years of experience across diverse industries including consumer product goods, market research and home audio and electronics. Prashant excels in driving innovation and executing balanced technology roadmaps with a strong emphasis on teamwork, digital strategy, and change management. His expertise spans a wide range of areas including ERP/EDI systems, e-commerce, cloud computing and network systems, Infrastructure scalability and cybersecurity.
Before his tenure at Rand, Prashant steered global IT operations for a leading consumer goods company, where he oversaw the management of all applications and supporting infrastructure for the growing and challenging business. Subsequently, as VP of IT at a premier home audio firm, he adeptly guided the technical strategy for the company’s flourishing global business.
Prashant Urkudey’s educational journey encompasses a solid foundation in chemical engineering with both BS and MS degrees from Mumbai University, followed by an MBA in MIS from Texas Tech University, reflecting a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen.
